Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and NeedThat Studio, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Internly," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Internly mobile application and the website at tryinternly.com (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

This agreement is between you and NeedThat Studio, LLC only — not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Service or its content.

1. What Internly Is (and Isn't)

Internly is an AI-powered tool and assistant that helps students discover internships, match with opportunities, prepare application materials, and submit applications on your behalf. To be clear about what that means:

• Internly is a productivity tool that acts as your authorized assistant for internship applications — not as your agent, representative, or fiduciary in any other capacity.
• When you swipe right or tap Apply, you explicitly authorize Internly to complete and submit that application on your behalf using the information you have provided.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information in every application. Internly assists with discovery and application processing but does not independently verify your information.
• Internly does not guarantee that you will receive any interview, offer, or employment.
• Internly does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any internship listing. Pay information may be an estimate when marked as such ("~" / "est.") and should not be relied on as an offer of compensation.
• Internly does not sign legal documents on your behalf. If an application requires a personal signature or login you control, it will be returned to you as "action needed."

By authorizing Internly to submit an application, you confirm that you have reviewed your profile, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you take full responsibility for the submission.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

Users under 18: If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By allowing a minor to use the Service, the parent or guardian agrees to be bound by these Terms and to supervise the minor's use.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile and for keeping it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding access to your account and device.
• One account per person; accounts may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
• You may only apply on your own behalf — never for another person.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Parts of the Service require a paid subscription, billed through your Apple ID.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your device's subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile or applications;
• Use the Service to apply on behalf of anyone other than yourself;
• Scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the Service;
• Use the Service in violation of any law or of third-party terms that apply to you.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you provide (profile details, resume, essays, answers). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service — including submitting it to employers at your direction.

7. Third-Party Sites and Employers

Internship listings link to and are operated by third parties. We are not a party to any application, interview, or employment relationship between you and an employer. Employers' own terms and privacy policies govern their handling of your application.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the Profile tab (or by contacting us). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 9, 10, and 11) survive.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT LISTINGS ARE ACCURATE, THAT APPLICATIONS WILL BE SUBMITTED SUCCESSFULLY, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEEDTHAT STUDIO, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, EMPLOYMENT, DATA, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NeedThat Studio, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your misuse of the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, providing in-app or email notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
